On Sunday 27th March 2011, Billy and Rachael Hamilton attended the 8th Scottish Hotel Awards Ceremony in the Thistle Hotel, Glasgow Grand Ballroom. The awards were hosted by comedian and TV personality Hardeep Singh Kohli and featured plenty of entertainment by fantastic acts, such as The Box. The Buccleuch Arms were presented with Scottish Inn of the Year 2011 and Billy received a well deserved award from Miss Scotland and Miss Glasgow for 'Host with the most'.
